Typhoon victims get relief goods.

Tacloban City, Leyte - Two years ago, businessmen and civic leaders here were victims of super-typhoon Yolanda; today, they are the ones sending out relief goods to victims of typhoon Nona in Northern Samar.

Rotary International District 3860 Assistant District Governor and former Rotary Club of Tacloban Past President Joel R. Caminade said they sent a truck load of relief goods to the Rotary Club of Catarman in Northern Samar to be distributed to typhoon victims there.

The relief goods will be repacked by the Rotary Club of Calbayog in Calbayog City which serves as drop off point and repacking area and will be delivered to the Rotary Club of Catarman through its President Josette Doktor.

Doktor said the relief goods came from the District Disaster Committee of Rotary International District 3860.

The relief goods include rice, canned goods, ready-to-eat food, blankets, slippers, used clothing, water treatment, and dengue prevention items.

Past President Andrew Ng of the Rotary Club of Tacloban donated 20 sacks of rice and assorted items of personal donation from Caminade.
