Tyndale signs deal for contraversial film tie-in.
Christian publisher Tyndal House have announced that it will release the official tie-in book for controversial Mel Gibson film 'The Passion of Christ'.
The book, called 'The Passion', will contain photo images from the film and the accompanying gospel passages, with a forward by Gibson. The film, which depicts the last twelve hours of Jesus' life, has drawn criticism from Jewish groups, who claim it blames Jews for the death of Jesus and will incite anti-Semitism.
Tyndale expects no damage from the controversy and is expecting to sell the tie-in to mainstream, independent and Christian bookstores.
Both the film and book will be released on 25th February, reported Publishers Weekly.
