Two-day special persons games start today.
ISLAMABAD -- The two day Quaid-e-Azam Games for Special Persons and Paralympics will kick start from today.
As many as 150 athletes will be seen in action in the two-day event.
According to the Pakistan Sports Board, the opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday at Rodham Hall and will be attended by the federal minister for inter-provincial coordination (IPC) Dr. Fehmida Mirza.
'These games will provide an encouragement to the special youth persons and paralympics in healthier activities. Moreover, the games would also be a source of spotting new talent of special persons for further grooming as they regularly participate in international mega events of special persons and Para Asian Games and Paralympics,' a PSB statement said.
