Two rescued.
MANAMA: The Coastguard yesterday rescued two Bahraini youngsters, aged around 16 years, who were carried away by waves as they were swimming with 16 other children near their base in Muharraq, reports MANDEEP SINGH. A Coastguard patrol spotted the two boys as they were struggling to stay afloat."A Coastguard immediately plunged into the sea and rushed to their rescue before entering the dangerous zone," Coastguard Commander Brigadier Alaa Siadi said. The boys, who received first-aid, are in good health.
The Coastguard Directorate summoned the parents of all the children and urged them not to let their children swim in forbidden zones to avert any potential dangers.
