Two police officers were shot dead and another one wounded as unidentified gunmen opened fire at a police post outside an administrative building in the settlement of Khiv in Russia's North Caucasian republic of Dagestan early on Monday, local police told Itar-Tass. According to police, the accident occurred at about 06:00 a.m. Moscow time. Investigation is underway. No further details are available so far.
