Two new titles covering Intellectual Property from McDermott, Will & Emery.
Law firm McDermott, Will & Emery (Chi./New York/London) has begun the publication of two new e-newsletters, including The European IP Bulletin and IP Review. The firm publishes three other titles: Business Law Advisory, Health Law Update and Intellectual Property Update. Registration is free.IP Review will be produced twice a year to carry information covering the latest developments in the various areas of intellectual property law. The first issue includes article entitled "A Less Expensive Alternative to Litigation," "Crafting Business Methods Patents," "Brand Leveraging," "Forum Shopping in Europe," "Patenting Biotechnology Tools" and "IP Valuation in Transactions."
The European IP Bulletin, produced in association with the Queen Mary Intellectual Property Research Institute (London), will be published six times a year and includes information in such practice areas as: copyright, intellectual property, trademarks and unfair competition, and relevant litigation news. The first issue includes stories and articles on: the interpretation of the doctrine of joint tortfeasance; individual privacy rights under the European Convention on Human Rights; unlawful concerted practices; "equitable renumeration" under the Rental and Lending Rights directive; EU proposals on piracy and counter-feiting; copyright infringement; and, industrial and community patents.
