THE next instalment of the Twilight saga premieres in London tomorrow and hits Teesside screens on Friday. Are you a pale and interesting Bella or do you prefer to vamp it up like the Volturi? JOANNE WELFORD gets her teeth into the perfect makeup.

FORGET Team Edward or Jacob - this time it's all about the ladies.

For when the next instalment of the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn Part 1, premieres tomorrow, it'll be Bella who takes centre stage.

And where the vampire love story leads, fans will undoubtedly follow.

Whether you hanker after the pale tones of Bella or prefer something altogether more vampish like the Volturi's eerie Jane, creating the perfect Twilight inspired makeup doesn't have to be difficult.

Skin specialist and beauty therapist Hollie Simpson, partner at the Saks Beauty salon at David Lloyd, Tees Barrage, says the key lies in creating the perfect base.

"The Bella inspired look is quite natural with a nice, flawless complexion so getting your foundation right is key," she says.

"For the vamp look, match your foundation again so you create a blank canvas and ensure a flawless finish.

"It is really important to get the foundation right and everything else will fall in to place."

Match your skin tone when choosing colours for a natural style look, adds Hollie, so makeup appears barely there.

When vamping it up, don't be afraid to go for emphasis on eyes and lips, she adds, as the look can handle a bit of both.

FRESH FACED: Georgina Vernon-Cook as Bella "Normally, when you are doing makeup, it is one or the other," says Hollie. "But the glam, gothic look is all about the two together - eyes dark and lips dark."
