Two extra models for Grand Vitara SZ range.
Byline: Steve HughesSUZUKI has added two new models to its three-door Grand Vitara SZ range, while the existing version gets minor styling enhancements and a major safety upgrade.
The new models are the 1.6-litre petrol and 1.9-litre diesel versions, which join the existing 2.4-litre petrol model.
The 1.6-litre petrol version costs from pounds 13,600 and has economy of 35mpg, a CO2 rating of 195g/km, acceleration to 60mph in 14.4 seconds and a top speed of 100mph.
The 1.9 DDiS model costs from pounds 16,200 and has economy of 40mpg, a CO2 rating of 183g/km, acceleration to 60mph in 12.8 seconds and a 105mph top speed.
There are two levels of trim and equipment which, in the case of the SZ3, includes electronic stability programme, half a dozen air bags, alloy wheels and air conditioning.
The SZ4 versions get largerdiameter alloys, darkened rear windows and a multi-disc CD player.
Unlike most of its rivals, the Grand Vitara doesn''t come with a two-wheel-drive option.
The vehicles come with free finance until October.
