Two arrests after man attacked at home.
A 37-year-old man was attacked and injured by two other men on Wednesday in Paphos, according to police.The man was attacked by a 33-year old and a 36-year old, who have since been placed under arrest and will appear before the court.
According to the report, the 37-year-old called the police at 4.30am claiming that two persons were outside his house threatening him.
When the officers arrived at the scene, the 37-year-old was lying in the floor of his apartment while the two men were kicking him.
Upon seeing the police, one of the men threw away a plastic bag that was later found to contain two grammes of cannabis.
The victim was rushed to the Paphos General Hospital. Police report says that he suffered injuries from a sharp object and bruising on the head and body. He was released shortly after receiving treatment.
The two men face charges of conspiracy to commit a crime, assault, possession of controlled substances and causing grevious bodily harm.
