ROBBERY - Londis Supermarket, Wakefield Road, Denby Dale, June 28.

Armed raiders struck at the village store.

One was armed with a knife and the other with a gun. The shopkeeper robbed of cash. Almondbury, July 3. Three attackers grabbed a man and one held a knife to his throat, robbing him of his helmet and motor scooter. Three men arrested.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY - Bookmakers, Wakefield Road, Scissett, July 2, involving masked man.

Almondbury, July 3. Victim and friends went to view a vehicle for sale. He was chased and assaulted with the intention of robbing him. Victim's friend had her handbag stolen and another friend was attacked with a hammer and seriously injured.

THEFT - Denby Dale, June 28.

Garden ornaments stolen. Property was later found in a nearby rec. Flockton Moor, June 27. Generator used to supply power to stable block stolen. Flockton, June 29. Garden lights stolen from side and front of house at Lower Cumberworth, June 25. Stone stolen from skip. Moldgreen, July 7. A passing patrol spotted three suspects with a large quantity of copper in rucksacks and wheelie bin. The suspects were arrested.

Wentworth pub, Upper Lane, Emley, June 29. Twenty cast iron grate covers stolen from pub car park.

BURGLARY - Almondbury, July 5.

Large front UPVC transom window forced and intruder climbed through into living room and stole electrical goods and wallet. Clayton West, June 27. Rear door forced open and box of chocolates stolen.

Fenay Bridge, July 2. Rear patio door lock froced and keys to vehicle parked on driveway stolen. Vehicle then taken and later abandoned after collision. Suspects arrested. Flockton, June 25. Side ground floor wooden transom window forced and laptop computer stolen from kitchen. Cafe Expresso, Northgate, Almondbury, July 1.

Front ground floor window smashed with stone and property stolen. Clayton West, June 26. Metal grill pulled off and side window smashed. Copper wiring stolen.

Denby Dale, June 24. Padlock on garden shed froced and lawn mower stolen.

Shelley, June 28. Power garden tools stolen from insecure garden shed.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE - Almondbury, July 1. Two panes of glass smashed in bus shelter. Almondbury, July 4. Electric gate sensor kicked and damaged.
