Twelve great hours of fun for all.

CROWDS of people are expected to flock to a family fun day in Nuneaton this weekend.

The "Fun 4 All Day", organised by Higham Lane Leisure Associa-tion, will be held on the community sports ground off Ambleside Way on Saturday, from 11am until 11pm.

Mike Farrell, the association secretary, said: "The event follows our successful Queen's Jubilee celebrations last year when hundreds of people converged on our grounds, to enjoy the celebrations, and help raise money for our charity."

Among the attractions will be an It's a Knockout competition, inflatable slides, sumo wrestling, a barbecue, Chinese dragon dancing, bingo, tug of war, model aeroplanes, beat the goalie comp-etition, and a raffle.

A professional firework display will bring down the curtain on the event.
