Tuscon, AZ.

Madaras Gallery held an opening for Diana Madaras, which marked the artist's 10th solo show. The paintings exhibited featured Western flare, which is different from past shows that featured more of her contemporary Southwest paintings. The opening was successful, and half of the paintings sold in the first four hours, including the featured piece "Running from the Storm" ($10,000). In accordance with the Western theme, guests were treated to a rib and chicken barbeque. Approximately 150 collectors were in attendance. Shown is Diana Madaras with collector Miroslaw Tymosiak, who lent creative input while the featured painting of the show, "Running from the Storm," was being created.
