Turtle trivia.

The turtle pictured on page ten of the August issue is incorrectly identified. It is not a box turtle but rather a red-eared slider turtle. Coahuilan box turtles are smaller and less colorful, and are the only aquatic members of the box turtle genus Terrapene. T Coahuila were studied in detail during the 1960s by William S. Brown, Emeritus Professor of Biology at Skidmore College in New York.
