Turning Point Conference set.

OKLAHOMA CITY The 21st annual Turning Point Conference and 10th annual policy day sponsored by the Oklahoma Turning Point Council is scheduled Aug. 30 at the Moore Norman Technology Center, South Penn Campus, in Oklahoma City.

The conference will highlight best practices for community coalitions and strategic partnerships, offer tips for communities to create a culture of health, and engage the community in state and local advocacy efforts.

Speakers will include Nathan Mellor, CEO of C3 Brands and the president of Strata Leadership in Oklahoma City.

The conference will include breakout sessions on teen pregnancy prevention, opioid abuse prevention, paid family leave, active living and transportation and school health.

Attendees must register online by 5 p.m. Aug. 23. Onsite registration is not available. Registration is $85 and includes lunch.
