Turkmen Central Bank issues new coins in honor of transnational railway.

In honor of the commissioning of the Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran railway, the Central Bank of Turkmenistan issued gold and silver coins in denominations of 50 manat ($17.5). The coins were produced by the Royal Mint Limited (UK) company.

On the background of the globe, the railway with the moving locomotive is portrayed on the obverse side of the coin. Gold plating was used for the design of a silver coin with the railway image. Above the locomotive, the state flags of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran are pictured. Around the circumference of the outer ring, "Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran is the railway of friendship" inscription is deposited.

On the reverse side of the coin, the traditional State Emblem of Turkmenistan and the Central Bank of Turkmenistan inscription are centered. There is also an inscription reflecting a coin's nominal value deposited on the reverse side.

The coins are produced from the high quality gold and silver. Gold coin weighs 39.94 grams and silver - 28.28. The Central Bank of Turkmenistan certificate guarantees the high quality of the production.
