Turkish Red Crescent aims to help people during Ramadan.
ANKARA -- Red Crescent aid organization of Turkey is planning to reach millions of people across the world with food aid during the holy month of Ramadan.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency president of the Turkish Red Crescent aid organization Kerem Kinik said, 'The priority is the Eastern Africa and famine-hit Yemen.'
He said, 'In the Eastern Africa and Yemen, there are nine million people in dire need of assistance due to drought and hunger.'
He said, 'Ramazan events will be held in 19 countries including Kenya, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Pakistan and Bangladesh as well as some other countries in Asia, Europe and Africa.'
