Promotion group makes its debut at London show

TURKISH Ceramics Promotion Group organised another enchanting concert at Cersaie 2013, the international exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings, held from September 25 to 29 at Bologna Fiere, Italy.

Blending Western music with Eastern melodies, the concert featured the international award-winning composer and pianist Fahir Atakoglu accompanied by Italy's leading symphony orchestra, the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini, on September 25 at Piazza del Maggiore, Bologna City.

Representing over 33 individual companies, Turkish Ceramics Promotion Group, was at Cersaie to raise awareness about Turkish ceramics abroad and also to showcase the high-quality of its ceramic tiles and sanitary ware. More than 22 leading Turkish ceramic companies exhibited its latest collections at the event.

Currently ranked the world's fourth biggest exporter of ceramic tiles and having a production capacity worth $2.73 billion, Turkey is also the largest producer and exporter of sanitaryware in Europe.

In order to support the Turkish ceramics industry, the promotion group organizes promotion activities worldwide with focus on the target countries and groups.

Earlier in September, Turkishceramics made its UK debut at 100% Design 2013 as the lead sponsor of the new international Pavilion. It also collaborated with London-based architect and interior designer, Ferhan Azman, founder of Azman Architects, to design Chockablock, a ceramic installation for the international pavilion.
