Turkish Businessmen Discuss Investment Cooperation with SIA Director.

Damascus, (SANA)- A delegation from Istanbul representing the Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen Association is visiting Syria to discuss investment partnerships in various fields.

During a meeting on Monday, Director General of the Syrian Investment Agency (SIA) Ahmad Abdul-Aziz discussed with the Turkish delegation the opportunities for cooperation between Syria and Turkey focusing particularly on the economic and investment fields.

He pointed out to the importance of benefiting from the rules of the Syrian-Turkish free trade zone and the agreements signed between both sides to increase investments and trade exchange volume.

Abdul-Aziz invited the Turkish businessmen to avail from the attracting investment atmosphere in Syria and explore opportunities in the sectors of electric power generation, industry, real estates, irrigation, banks and insurance.Head of the delegation, Mehemet Sandal, expressed the desire of the Turkish investors and businessmen in promoting economic cooperation through building joint partnerships with their Syrian counterparts in various fields.H.
