TurboLinux introduces latest version of Cluster Server system.
The US-based Linux software company TurboLinux Inc has launched a new version of its Cluster Server web clustering product.
The Cluster Server 6 is offered as a pure application allowing it to be installed on top of TurboLinux Server or Red Hat. The latest version also comes with a new web-based administration framework called Cluster Management Console for managing the cluster.
Other enhancements include support for web farms of up to 250 clusters of unlimited nodes and an ability for administrators to view real-time graphical statistics on site, service, node performance and load.
The Cluster Server 6 is available now, priced at GBP695 for a two-node cluster and GBP1,295 for a ten-node cluster.
