Tunisia to promote scientific research with Arab Agricultural Authority.

Summary: The prospects of cooperation between Tunisia and the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) were the focus of a meeting which took place on Monday in Tunis, between Mr. Nouri Jouini, Minister of Development and International Cooperation and Mr. Ali Ben Said Echarhan, chairman of AAAID, currently on a working visit in Tunisia.

The prospects of cooperation between Tunisia and the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) were the focus of a meeting which took place on Monday in Tunis, between Mr. Nouri Jouini, Minister of Development and International Cooperation and Mr. Ali Ben Said Echarhan, chairman of AAAID, currently on a working visit in Tunisia.<p>The meeting was an opportunity to express Tunisia's will to strengthen cooperation with "AAAID" in the agricultural sector.

Mr. Nouri Jouini stressed the need to focus efforts on the optimal exploitation of investment opportunities and joint projects, in addition to promoting scientific research, while calling to introduce new scenarios that can improve the performance of "AAAID".

For his part, Mr. Echarhan commended the exemplary level of cooperation established between "AAAID" and Tunisia, noting that the success of projects testifies to the good relations between the two parties.

He added that "AAAID" is also very concerned about the exploitation of new investment opportunities in Tunisia, which offers promising research prospects.
