Tunisia scoops four prizes at MalmE[micro] Arab Film Festival.

(TAP) - Tunisia scooped four prizes at the 7th MalmE[micro] Arab Film Festival (MAFF) held October 6-10 in MalmE[micro], southern Sweden.

Kaouther Ben Hania's Beauty and the Dogs won two prizes; the Best Screenplay Prize went to filmmaker and screenwriter Kaouther Ben Hania and the one of Best Cinematography was awarded to Johan Holmquist.

Lotfi Achour's Tomorrow at Dawn garnered two prizes: the Best Director Award (Lotfi Achour) and the Best Actress Award (Anissa Daoud).

Beauty and the Dogs opened MAAF 2017 which saw the participation of 48 films from 23 Arab and European countries.
