Tunisia and France ink three partnership agreements in education field.

(TAP) -- Three partnership agreements in the education field were inked by Tunisia and France at a ceremony held on Monday in Tunis, in the presence of Education Minister Hatem Ben Salem and France's Ambassador to Tunisia Olivier Poivre d'Arvor.

The first agreement was inked by Tunis 1's regional education commission and Cretail Academy, the second one was signed by Sousse's regional education commission and Nice Academy while the third and last one was inked by Bizerte's regional education commission and Aix Marseille Academy.

On this occasion, France's Ambassador highlighted his country's willingness to "genuinely" endeavour in the next months so as each commission in Tunisia will have a French academy as a partner.

He voiced commitment to reinforce co-operation with Tunisia in order to develop a quality education system, notably through strengthening the teachers' skills and improving medical services in schools.

Education Minister Hatem Ben Salem said he will work on strengthening teachers' capacities and developing digital education as part of Tunisian-French partnership.
