Tunisia : OOREDOO TUNISIA introduces PocketNet range of services.

A mobile operator formerly Tunisiana, Ooredoo Tunisia has introduced the PocketNet range of services offering mobile phone clients access to the internet without the need of an internet subscription.

The new service works with Wikipeda, a French-English dictionary, a five-language translation website and a currency converter. For 1 day, the service is offered for TND 0.20 (approx USD 0.12) for 7 days TND 0.50 and for 30 days TND 1. Customers who select a per-use basis pay TND 0.02.

The service is designed for young blood, comprising school pupils and university students, but states that it is likely to appeal to people of all ages.
