NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT-August 19, 2019-Tulikivi reports lower income in Q2 2019


Tulikivi Oyj (HEL:TULAV), a stone processing company, reported on Friday total comprehensive loss of EUR0.1m, or EUR0.00 per share, second-quarter of 2019, from April 2019 to June 2019.

This was a decline of 74.1% over total comprehensive income of EUR0.2m, or EPS of EUR0.00, in Q2 2018.

Net sales for the quarter were EUR7.5m, up by 1.2% as compared with EUR7.4m in Q2 2018.

Order books at the end of the quarter stood at EUR3.6m, as compared with EUR3.4m at the end of Q2 2018.

Also, the company provided future outlook and expects net sales to increase in 2019 and comparable operating profit is expected to be positive.

During the quarter, the company's order flow was EUR7.0m, as compared with EUR7.1m in Q2 2018.

Tulikivi designs and manufactures fireplaces, facades, interior decoration and landscaping stones, as well as semi-finished products. The company also handles architectural and construction projects.
