Gary Hughes says the secret to obtaining financial assistance for education "lies in knowing where the money is and what programs fit a student's needs."

Hughes' Conway-based Tuition Assistance Group uses a computer-based network to find potential college students no fewer than six sources for which they are eligible to apply. The fee for the service is $75.

Hughes says there is more than $4 billion in scholarships, grants and awards available annually.
