Try an "e-newsletter".
In a column in the September 2004 issue of Colorado Dentistry, Ms. Reed mentions a number of internet-based communication ideas, including sending an "e-newsletter" to patients. A regular e-mail to patients could help a dentist get the word out about oral hygiene care and dental procedures and basically keep up the friendly yet professional relationship so prized by doctors and patients alike.
To get your e-mail list started, all that is basically needed is a place for an e-mail address on a new-patient form, along with a box to check if the patient is interested in receiving electronic communications.
