Try a taste to sample college life.

IF you've ever thought about going back into education but aren't sure if you've got what it takes, Glasgow's Stow College is offering free Taster courses.

The next intake is on April 15 and classes will run two days a week for 12 weeks.

No qualifications are required and the college welcomes applications from people who have been away from education for some time.

There are no tuition fees and help may be available for travel and childcare costs - plus your benefit entitlements will not be affected.

The areas covered include communication skills, numeracy, learning and study skills and guidance.

Contact student services on 0141-332 1786, or drop into the college at 43 Shamrock Street, Cowcaddens.
