Try Xtreme treatment for long, luscious eyelashes.

Byline: Laura Coventry

WOW is the only word that springs to mind when I look into the mirror and flutter my newly extended eyelashes.

The thick, lengthy lashes curl upwards, leaving me with no need to apply volumeboosting mascara for up to 28 days.

Glasgow salon Ellen Conlin in Hyndland applied my Xtreme Lashes - a revolutionary new semipermanent cosmetic treatment which makes lashes look longer and thicker, with a natural feel. First, beauty therapist Irene Young removed all my eye make up, applied a primer and started to tape down my lower lashes (this is to prevent the adhesive soaking through to the bottom lashes).

I closed my eyes as Irene began to separate my lashes one by one using sharp tweezers, before placing the fake lashes over my own and bonding them on using a solvent-free adhesive. I put my trust in Irene, listened to the relaxing music, and started to drop off into a light sleep as she continued to apply around 50 lashes of three different lengths (10mm, 12mm, and 13mm) to each upper lid of the eye.

The results give that false-lash effect I was looking for, yet they feel as weightless as if they were my own.
