Truth about kids who have babies.

THEY are only children themselves, but they are Britain's Youngest Mums And Dads (ITV1, Tuesday).

Britain has the highest teenage pregnancy rate in Western Europe and it's getting worse, as babies born to teenagers are more likely to go on to become teenage parents themselves.

More than 11,000 UK teenage mums register their baby without a dad every year, though 20-year-old Charlotte isn't among them. She's married to Dax, with whom she started a family at just 14. They have had five children in as many years and plan more.

Also featured are 13-year-old Charlotte, who didn't know she was pregnant when she went into labour, and Simone, whose children have Down's syndrome and cerebral palsy.

Also, look out for Birth Night Live (Five, Sunday). Gabby Logan, Andrew Castle and Penny Lancaster present the live broadcast from the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham. You can just imagine the director trying to speed up labour so the baby comes out before the ad break.
