Trust O'Driscoll to try his best; RUGBY UNION.

HARLEQUINS have scored 94 tries in all competitions this season and they host Leinster and their formidable backline in today's Heineken Cup quarter-final.

The combination of two sides with plenty of scoring potential may initially make a points quote of 39-42 look low.

But it must be borne in mind that this is a knockout cup game, and yesterday's tryless encounter between Cardiff and Toulouse showed that even the most vaunted of backlines can find it hard going at this stage of the tournament.

Leinster's most famous quarterfinal success was probably their 41-35 triumph at Toulouse three years ago, but it is hard to see a points tally of such magnitude today.

Quins have shown in this competition, and particularly in their victory over Stade Francais in Paris, and in last week's 19-3 Premiership win at Bath that their defence is as solid and committed as any, while Leinster struggled to put points on the board in their Heineken Cup defeats at Castres and Wasps this season.

If anyone can break through, it could be that man Brian O'Driscoll, and the low points quote means his try minutes are pitched attractively low.
