Triple Point Technology reveals WAM Systems buy.
3 January 2013 - US software firm Triple Point Technology Inc announced on Thursday the acquisition of Pennsylvania-based sector firm WAM Systems Inc without saying how much it had paid for it.
The target provides supply chain planning and optimisation solutions for process manufacturing industries, including oil and gas, polymers, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and chemicals. It was established in 1987 by Jack Weiss, Mark Zod and John Kamal in 1987.
WAM Systems' major customers include Indian Oil Corporation Limited (BOM:530965), LyondellBasell Industries NV (NYSE:LYB), PetroChina Company Limited (HKG:0857) and Solvay SA (EBR:SOLB), among others.
