Alzheimer Society of Haldimand-Norfolk. To support the development of a Strategic funding plan in order to continue to serve people with Alzheimer disease and their families in Haldimand and Norfolk. $20,000 over one year.
Brant Alcove Rehabilitation Services. Toward a supportive residence for children in Jarvis, which enables children needing residential supports to remain in the community. $37,200 over one year.
The Brantford Young Men and Young Women's Christian Association. For marketing and fundraising feasibility studies to support a business plan to determine the viability of a downtown Y in Brantford. $51,600 over five months.
Hamilton AIDS Network. To enhance and expand programs for people living with AIDS/HIV in the Grand River area by supporting the implementation of resource development and marketing plans to increase outreach, volunteer recruitment and fundraising. $9,700 over three years. (An additional OTF grant of $63,800 has been approved for the Hamilton area.)
Habitat for Humanity Stratford-Perth. To assist with the start-up of a ReStore in Perth County which will divert reusable building materials from local landfill sites and generate revenue for the construction of new Habitat homes. $78,000 over two years.
