Tributes to gun victim teen.
A 19-YEAR-OLD girl believed to have been shot dead by her father in Spalding has been described as a "lovely person" who was "well-liked". Charlotte Hart, right, and her mother Claire, 50, were killed near the Castle swimming pool in the Lincolnshire village on Tuesday.
Lance Hart, 57, is believed to have shot the pair dead with a shotgun before turning the weapon on himself.
Lincolnshire Police said the gunman did not hold a shotgun certificate or firearms licence and the provenance of the weapon was an "active line of inquiry".
Charlotte had been studying for a BSc in Midwifery at the University of Northampton.
Senior lecturer Mary Huntley said staff and students are "deeply saddened" to hear of her death.
She said: "Charlotte was a lovely young woman, who's quiet, friendly manner served her well with her academic studies at university and during her clinical placement with Kettering General Hospital.
"Charlotte was wellliked and extremely hardworking throughout her studies; as well as when she was playing for the University of Northampton Students' Union Lacrosse team.
"Charlotte was a lovely person, who will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends at this difficult time."
Spalding High School, where Charlotte studied between 2008 and 2015, said in a statement she was an "exemplary student" who "showed incredible kindness and empathy towards others".
