Tribute to stabbed Jethro, 6.

Byline: By TOM PARRY

THIS is angelic Jethro Field, six, thought to have been stabbed to death by his father.

The youngster was pictured on a fairground ride with his friends just weeks ago.

Family friend Isabel

Turner, who took the photo, said: "He was just a lovely little boy."

Pals Amelia, 13, Finn, nine, and Rowan, six, who were with him on the day, wrote in a card: "Jethro, thank you for being our best friend.

We will miss you."

Jethro was found dead by mum Stevie Benson on Wednesday with severe wounds to his chest and neck while staying with dad Dafydd Field in Farncombe, Surrey.

Field, 52, went to police where he was held on suspicion of murder.

Officers were last night given until tomorrow morning to quiz him.
