Tredegar Opens Japan Sales Office

Tredegar Film Products, a supplier of "Visqueen" films to the disposable absorbent products market, has followed its major customers overseas with the opening of a sales and development office in Kobe, Japan. According to the official announcement, Tredegar Film Products, Richmond, VA, "opened the office to develop relationships and provide service to major customers such as Procter & Gamble Far East." Heading the office is Ikuo Kiyohara, national account manager-Far East.

Anthony Rinaldi, division general manager, explained the reasons for the new regional office. "We compete with an increasing array of local and multinational roll stock suppliers," he said. "To be successful in this we must deliver high quality products and the highest levels of service at competitive prices. And we need to have face to face contact with our customers." Products will continue to be imported from plants in the U.S. and The Netherlands.
