Treason case: court to start hearings against Musharraf today.

ISLAMABAD -- Hearing of ever first treason case against any dictator in the country's history over abrogating constitution and toppling democratic government would expectedly start today (Monday).

Special court comprised of Justice Faisal Arab, Justice Tahira Safdar and Justice Yawar Ali would start hearing of treason case under Article 06 of constitution against former military dictator General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf here in Federal Shariat Court's building.

Sharif-ud-Din Pirzada, Ahmad Raza Qasoori and Ibrahim Satti would present before court on Musharraf's side, while, Barrister Saif has been appointed as legal advisor.

The Supreme Court (SC) has ordered to start treason case against Musharraf and government took initiative in the wake of issued orders.

Public prosecutor would present case before the court and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) would present investigation reports containing statements of important personalities.
