Training curriculum about research ethics.

Research Ethics Training Curriculum for Community Representatives from FHI informs and empowers community representatives to speak or advocate for research participants worldwide. The 97-page curriculum addresses general principles of research ethics (such as informed consent and ethics committees), their importance, and the role and responsibilities of representatives in the research process. The curriculum provides easy-to-use materials, such as slides, case studies, activities, and facilitator notes, and includes an ethics training certificate from FHI's Office of International Research Ethics. The curriculum was developed and field-tested in multiple countries, and it is available in print, online, and CD-ROM versions in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese.
