Traffic clamps down on tinted cars.

08 : 31 PM - 21/06/2018 Manama, June 21 (BNA): The traffic police clamped down on cars with tinted glass and curtains over the past five months. The General Directorate of Traffic reported 5,097 violations during the period running from January until May. "The clampdown aims at protecting the safety of road-users and ensuring compliance with rules and regulations", said Traffic Deputy Director-General Colonel Mohammed Ali Daraj. He announced that a group of violators had already been referred to the Public Prosecution to face charges, vowing zero tolerance against such traffic violations. The General Directorate of Traffic tolerates a 30% tinting of side windows (Zero-one) and a zero-zero tinting of front windshields. AHN
