Ticero (5.00 Doncaster, nap) Was a shade disappointing on turf last season, but has come good with some sound efforts on the all-weather this season. Can race keenly, so today's race should be run to suit, and with Nina Carberry taking the ride, is fancied to give a good account from a favourable draw. Dance To My Tune (1.50 Doncaster) Reliable sort who turned in a series of good efforts on turf last season. High enough in the weights, but well drawn, will be suited by a strong gallop and stable has a fine record in this event. Big run anticipated.
Tarraman (2.20 Doncaster) From the Mark Johnston yard, which has made a really good start to the turf season. Shaped well on his only run last season when runner-up at York, and with the step up in trip expected to suit, is fancied to go one better.
Commando Scott (3.25 Doncaster) Won on his reappearance last season and progressed well in handicaps after that. Starts the season high enough in the weights, but is still on the upgrade and is expected to go well.
Halla San (4.30 Doncaster) Good third in a Newmarket maiden when stepped up to a mile for the first time on his handicap debut last season. Further improvement expected over today's additional two furlongs, and with a good draw, can get off the mark.
