Traceable Long-Stem Thermometer.

Control Company's new Traceable[R] Long-Stem Thermometer is the perfect size to fit into flasks, cuvets, test tubes, and beakers. It reads temperatures in foods, gases, samples, reagents, water baths, and semisolids. The stainless-steel probe is resistant to acids, bases, solvents, and most laboratory chemicals. The long stem allows users to make measurements while stirring solutions in deep vessels. The thermometer displays temperatures from -58 to 482[degrees]F (-50 to 250[degrees]C). Resolution is 0.1[degrees] from -20 to 200[degrees]C (1[degrees] outside this range), and its accuracy is as reliable as [+ or -]0.5[degrees]C between -20 and 120[degrees]C. Readings are updated every second.

Almost unbreakable plastic-and-stainless-steel construction (no glass or mercury) makes the thermometer safe. The brilliant LCD display is 1/4-inch high. The unit is designed for use in all ovens and incubators.

An individually serial-numbered Traceable [R] Certificate is provided from Control Company's ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA. It indicates traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.

The case is made of rugged ABS plastic, with a diameter of 13/16 inch. Stem diameter is 0.14 inch, and the unit weighs less than 1 ounce. Several stem lengths, temperature ranges, and accuracies are available.
