Toyota Tsusho Opens Medical Clinic in Thai Plant.
Tokyo, Feb 18, 2013 - (JCN) - Toyota Tsusho Corporation announced today that Thai subsidiary TT Medical & Welfare Management (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (TTMWM) will open the Medical Care Clinic on February 19 inside an automobile plant operated by Toyota Motor Thailand (TMT) to care for employees and their families.Thailand is currently enjoying economic growth and rising personal incomes. In conjunction with these trends, the percentage of people opting for high-quality treatment at private hospitals is increasing, and medical expenses have soared as a result.
Though public hospitals are inexpensive, the number of hospitals is limited, causing overcrowding and inconvenience for patients.
After observing current conditions for medical treatment, TTMWM developed a plan to offer convenient, high-quality, and reasonably-priced medical services at a clinic inside the TMT plant through a tie-up with Ramathibodi Hospital, one of the country's leading public hospitals.
TTMWM hopes to enhance its medical facilities' functions and services to meet market needs and contribute to the improvement of medical treatment conditions in Thailand.
