Town children don't know parents' names.
NEW research by Odeon Cinemas found that one in nine Loughborough children believe their parents name is 'Mum' or 'Dad.'.
The research reveals that kids in Loughborough are so pre-occupied with gaming and social media that they don't give time to bonding with their parents.
One in five kids (18%) in Loughborough say they can't even imagine their own parents being children and 16% don't know where in the world their parents were born.
Chris Bates, commercial director at Odeon UK and Ireland, said: "There's nothing better than debriefing a movie after watching it all together, hopefully this will help kids understand their parents better and enjoy those precious family moments."
