Tough Cuikie dig in for win.

Penicuik........................ 3 Montrose Roselea ...... 1 Penicuik overcame an early setback to leave their Angus rivals pointless at the foot of the Premier League.

Roselea were ahead inside 50 seconds when striker Calum Watson latched on to a Ryan Taylor pass and lobbed keeper Youssef Bejaoui.

But Penicuik were level in 12 minutes when Sean Patterson rifled home from inside the box before James McPartlin put the home side ahead with a fine finish from a tight angle in 20 minutes.

Watson struck the post for Roselea and Dale Reid shot wide when clean through. They were made to rue those missed chances when Dean Knight flicked in Greg Ross' cutback in 54 minutes.
