Touch Clarity unveils new personalisation technology.
Touch Clarity has introduced web site personalisation software that studies consumers' online behaviour to help maximise Internet retailers' returns.
According to the company its Intelligent Personalization technology differs from traditional one-to-one marketing or customer relationship management techniques by not relying on historical information such as customers' past purchases or demographic information such as gender, age and income.
Instead the new technology analyses variables ranging from customers' keyboard and screen settings to the time of day and how long customers dwell on specific parts of a web site. Utilising mathematical techniques this information is then used to predict and create the web contents or products most likely to trigger a purchase - enabling each individual customer to view a personalised web site.
