Tories fall out; RecordView.

TO the average Scot, the squabble over plans to extend Heathrow Airport will seem air miles away from the stuff that really matters.

But yesterday's extraordinary attack on David Cameron by Tory MP Tim Yeo was interesting in the way it exposed the deep divisions in the Conservative Party.

Yeo, a former minister, humiliated the PM by publicly wondering if he will be "a man or a mouse" over the controversial proposal for a third runway.

A growing group of Tory MPs now think their leader is a liability, a PR man exposed as totally lacking in substance.

Of course, we could have told them that years ago!
