SETH Rogen welcomes actor pal Jay Baruchel to Los Angeles and brings him to a house party thrown by James Franco. With the booze flowing and Michael Cera harassing anything in a skirt, Jay puts on a brave face. After much pestering, he convinces veteran surfer Frosty Hesson (Gerard Butler) to train him for the epic trial of riding mavericks, which can swell to 50ft, and a father-son bond soon forms.

While Frosty becomes a positive male authority figure for Jay, the youngster enriches his mentor's life too.

Miranda: Series 3, 15, PS19.99 LAUGH yourself silly at another six episodes of the award-winning BBC Two comedy, written by and starring comedian Miranda Hart.

This series, Miranda and Gary (Tom Ellis) struggle to remain just friends then he gets a girlfriend (Naomi Bentley), which convinces Miranda that it is time to move on.

A visit to a chiropractor (Tim Pigott-Smith) ends in embarrassment and a wedding proposal provides a suitable cliffhanger.
