Top Governmental Affairs Strategist Jennifer Kurrie Joins BergDavis Public Affairs.

SAN FRANCISCO -- BergDavis Public Affairs, a San Francisco-based Public Affairs firm announced today that Jennifer Kurrie has joined the firm, as a Vice President of Public Affairs. Kurrie will provide strategic counsel to key BDPA accounts as well as help to identify and secure new clients for the firm. Until recently, Kurrie was the Senior Manager of Government Affairs and Public Policy for Gap Inc. Based in San Francisco, she lead Gap Inc.'s state government affairs program in addition to specializing in health care, tax and privacy issues at the federal, state and local level.

She joined Gap Inc. after more than two years with the National Retail Federation, where she also specialized in health care and employment issues in addition to product stewardship, legal reform and Internet sales tax collection. Prior to working with the retail industry she served as legislative assistant for the Independent Telephone and Telecommunications Alliance, communications director for The Center for A Sustainable Economy, and as a legislative aide to Congressman Bart Stupak (D-Michigan).
