Top DJs are lined up for clubs' big dance night; MUSIC FANS FROM ALL OVER THE MIDLANDS ARE EXPECTED TO DESCEND ON SKYDOME VENUES FOR 'UNMISSABLE' EVENT.

Byline: ALAN HARRIS

ONE of the biggest dance nights in Coventry will take place at the SkyDome next week.

Three Radio One DJs and the Artful Dodger will join a host of other top names for a set at Ikon, Diva and Bonds on Tuesday.

One ticket for the night buys access to three different line-ups across the clubs.

In Ikon, Radio One DJ Tim Westwood will team up with Chris Goldfinger, and Jazzie J from the Sony Street Team to bring the best in soul, R 'n' B, hip hop and ragga to the Coventry nightspot.

Meanwhile, in sister club Diva, the Artful Dodger, Spoony from Radio One's Dreem Teem, Mr Gizmo and Frenzy - will be playing the cream of the UK garage scene. Limited VIP tickets are also available at Diva, which allow clubbers to skip the queues and get into the VIP bar.

Lastly, in Bonds, R 'n' B night, Soul on Sundays, features Kenny Jordan from Kix 96 and Cosmic's Magical M and Roffie.

Stavros Poulos, of event organisers Cosmic, said: "This is by far the biggest DJ line-up ever to come to Coventry in one night and we are expecting it to be a massive hit, not just with clubbers in Coventry, but with fans of top quality music all over the Midlands.

"Also, we have billed it as Tim Westwood and Chris Goldfinger versus the Artful Dodger, Spoony and Dreem Teem, so it will be interesting to see which of them attracts the biggest crowds."

John Bunce, manager of Ikon, Diva and Bonds, said it was an unmissable night for any fan of dance music in the Midlands.

He said: "Cosmic have put together a fantastic line-up and the programme for the night emphasises the ability of Ikon, Diva and Bonds to bring the biggest names in clubbing to Coventry."
