Top British bands to play Texas festival.
A HOST of British bands will be topping the bill at a popular US music festival this summer.Coldplay, Oasis and Franz Ferdinand are among the headline acts confirmed to play the Austin City Limits festival in Texas on September 23-25.
More than 130 bands will perform on eight stages at the event, billed as the longest-running music show in the country.
Other acts crossing the pond include Keane, Doves, Kasabian and Bloc Party.
The festival attracted more than 70,000 fans a day last year.
The Black Crowes, Jimmy Cliff, Lyle Lovett and up and the Bravery are all set to play this year's festival
