Top 8 Movies And TV Shows Leaving Netflix In August.

Netflix has to clean house every month to make room for new titles, and they'll be getting rid of some fan favorites in August 2017. Over 50 titles will disappear, but these are the few that you will want to add to your queue before they leave Netflix.

"Ten Things I Hate About You" - disappearing Aug 1 - Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger star in the quintessential late '90s teen movie. In this modern adaptation of William Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew," Bianca (Larissa Oleynik) isn't allowed to date until her sister Kat (Stiles) does, so the boys crushing on Bianca pay Patrick (Ledger) to date Kat. Things get complicated when Patrick and Kat develop real feelings for each other.

"Babe" - disappearing Aug. 1 - Babe (Christine Cavanaugh) moves to a new farm where he struggles to find his place. Eventually, he learns to herd sheep. The 1995 film was nominated for best picture at the Academy Awards.

"Superbad" - disappearing Aug. 4 - High school seniors Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michael Cera) want to lose their virginities before graduation. They plan to make it happen at a big party, but nothing goes according to plan.

"The Spoils of Babylon" Season 1 - disappearing Aug. 6 - This is your last chance to check out IFC's hilarious series before it disappears from Netflix. The comedy spoofs the dramatic event miniseries of the '70s and '80s, even showing a fictional director Eric Jonrosh (Will Ferrell) discussing how it took years to make. Kristen Wiig earned an Emmy nomination for her performance. Val Kilmer, Tobey Maguire, Jessica Alba, Haley Joel Osment and more also star.

"Dope" - disappearing Aug. 10 - The 2015 Sundance favorite follows Malcolm (Shameik Moore) and his friends Jib (Tony Revolori) and Diggy (Kiersey Clemons) as they obsess over '90s hip hop and start their own punk band. When they end up at a drug dealer's birthday party, Malcolm ends up with a stash of ecstasy in his backpack. Thugs come after him to get the drugs.

"To Kill a Mockingbird" - disappearing Aug. 15 - The 1962 film, an adaptation of Harper Lee's famous book, follows Atticus (Gregory Peck), a lawyer in Maycomb, Alabama, who defends a black man named Tom Robinson (Brock Peters). Tom has been accused of raping a white woman, and the case stirs up trouble in the southern town.

"Revenge" Seasons 1-4 - disappearing Aug. 28 - If you're looking for a juicy drama, binge this ABC sudser. Emily Van Camp ("Captain America: Civil War") plays Amanda Clarke, whose family was forced out of the Hamptons years ago. She returns to the town years later under the alias Emily Thorne, and she is ready to get revenge on those who wronged her parents.

"The League" Seasons 1-7 - disappearing Aug. 30 - You'll have to binge-watch quickly if you want to see this series before it leaves Netflix. The semi-improvised comedy follows a fantasy football league. What starts as a fun rivalry quickly becomes a cut-throat competition. Mark Duplass, Nick Kroll, Katie Aselton and Paul Scheer star.
